This monumental photography project utilizes a new glass roof over the courtyard as a (natural) lightbox. The photographic use of the roof attempts to define the spaces above and within the courtyard through the surface which acts as a border between the two.

This project presents the visitor with a number of dualities in that, within one roof, two conditions are presented. The first, a busy scene where cars seem to be piled directly onto the roof. The second is an artificial window to the clear sky above.
