Multi-touch surfaces allow the ability to track multiple points of contact which leads to a more intuitive, gesture-based way of interacting with the computer. Multi-touch interaction also enables multi-user interaction... A big step towards more social interfaces and truley ubiquitous computing environments.
These type of devices will have a large impact on the way we interact with computers from now on. That is why SOCO is not just exhibiting this technology, but is actively involved in its research and development of new social applications.
