This is an annual showcase for the most innovative technology from the Netherlands with opening by Johan Friso van Oranje, Prince of Holland. SOCO will be prominently featured with our Multi-Touch MediaWall presenting a multi-user interactive overview of the conference activites. We will be posting video and images in the coming days. |

24-9-2008 SOCO joins forces with DraftFCB to initiate the usage of Multi-Touch technology as an innovative new advertising medium in public space. We will be launcing the Multi-Touch AdWall at PICNIC '08 (24-26 Sept.), europe's main conference for creative industries. For PICNIC, we’ve created a dynamic interface by which conference-goers can navigate through user-generated media content. Visitors can add content by posting their media online with the following tag: picnic08_buildingnumber_time (for example: "picnic_8_1330"). Click here to see a video of the presentation. |

1-9-2008 SOCO Amsterdam has developed a unique Multi-Touch table with custom Multi-User application for the set of VPRO's new program Dat Kan Beter! which can be viewed Wednesday evenings on Ned 2 (at 22.45). 5-6-2008 On 4 June, SOCO held a special workshop to representatives from many public libraries in North and South Holland on the potential use of Multi-Touch technology within the library context. Applications focus on sensory stimulation to benefit hanidcapped children and elderly. 30-3-2008 On 31 March, SPITS has released a special technology issue featuring SOCO Multi-touch (front page) as well as some new projects by PHILIPS. This was another nice event and was great to see, with back-to-back presentations, how both business and creative communities draw inspiration from this innovative new technology. |

4-2-2006 SOCO Amsterdam opens her second exhibition 'Defining the Space (part 2)'. This event marks the completion of the first set of exhibitions at SOCO. Featuring six new artworks, alongside many from part 1, the exhibition space is now officially defined as the most progressive in the city. |

9-11-2005 Dror Stavisky's interactive work, 'Video Translator', has been installed on the facade of SOCO for the benifit of the neigborhood and general public. The installation runs all night and can be seen every evening starting from 19:00h. |
