This exhibition marks the completion of the first in the series of four that will be realized this year. The series falls under the general theme of "Creative Play, Productive Fun" which, when viewed as a whole, tells the story of SOCO as an alternative method of producing and presenting artworks. With this current exhibition, the forum is defined in full and the stage has now been set for the rest of the year's activities.

All of the artworks presented have been made specifically for this exhibition. They should not be viewed as objects within the space but rather as definitions of the function, as well as a form, of the spaces at hand: showroom, storage, kitchen, bar and courtyard.

These definitions will later be used as a starting point for new artworks to be presented in upcoming exhibitions.

Deze tentoonstelling markeert de afronding van de eerste tentoonstelling uit het serie van vier die in de loop van dit jaar zullen worden gerealiseerd. De vier exposities maken onderdeel uit van een hoofdthema: 'Creative Play, Productive Fun', en zullen gezamelijk het verhaal van SOCO vertellen als een alternatieve methode voor het produceren en tentoonstellen van kunst. Met deze tentoonstelling is de ruimte geheel gedefiniëerd. Daarmee is ook de basis gelegd voor activiteiten die in de rest van het jaar zullen plaatsvinden

Alle kunstwerken die hier worden gepresenteerd, zijn specifiek voor deze tentoonstelling gemaakt. De kunstwerken dienen niet te worden beschouwd als autonome objecten maar, binnen de context van de ruimte, zijn ze bepalend voor het definiëren van de functie, als ook de vorm van elke specifieke tentoonstellingsruimte: de showroom, de opslagruimte, de keuken, de bar en het terras.

Deze definities zullen dienen als uitgangspunt voor nieuwe werken die in de volgende tentoonstellingen worden gepresenteerd.
